Relaxation in Articleship Registration(Old) | Success for Students

Dear Students,

ICAI has considered relaxation in registration of articleship for old course students. We thank each and every student who had taken part in our signature campaign (Campaign details to extend cut off till 31st October - here).

The following category of students can register for 3 Years of articleship by 30th September

Students who have cleared any one group under the old scheme can commence 3 years articleship.
Students who have registered/provisionally registered under direct entry scheme can start 3 years articleship. Passing of CA Inter to register for articleship not requried.
Students who have converted to Direct Entry route can start articleship. They would be eligible to write Nov-23 CA inter exams provided articleship commenced by 30th September.

Students can register for articleship from 21st August 2023.

Interested students are advised to take note of above and get themselves registered.

I'm in CA intermediate from foundation route and didn't clear either of groups. I completed graduation on 12/07/2023 . Can i convert to direct entry now and register or articleship under old scheme ?

Hello sir, I have passed group1 in nov 22 and got failed group 2 in May 2023 but got an exemption. I forgot to get registered under old scheme for articleship to get my final attempt in May 26. I have also completed my graduation. So sir if I get converted in direct entry scheme can I start my articleship in old scheme or new scheme? And will my final attempt be may 26 or nov 26? Please reply sir!

I'm also falling in the same case sir.. But I believe, this notification is for the students who are going to freshly register for the articles right before Sep 30. Since we have already completed 1 year of Articleship, I have a query/confusion as to Will this notification applies to us?.

You must be registered at the time of results.

You can convert but need to complete full 2 years fresh.

I Cleared Group 1 in November 2022 and registered for articles on 28th june.... the results were announced and I cleared Group 2......Can I convert to articles under new scheme...
