Yes, you are eligible Karthikeya. However, you must complete it before writing Level II. All the best!

1.Sir will I be eligible to pursue CFA if have passed Foundation and registered for the Intermediate course and Bcom through IGNOU? 2. If so, then level 2 of CFA can be attempted by me ,only if I complete 3 years of articleship and getting CA degree or just 3 years articleship Sor ?

Hey Divya, Is it possible to appear for CFA Level 1 if we cleared CA Intermediate?

Yes, if you are graduated or in your second year of college . But, ICAI allows only one course to pursue along with CA. If you are already graduated then it will not be a problem.

Iâ??m not a regular B.Com student. I took the 1year IGNOU B.Com. Can it be considered as final year of study. Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks

1. Yes, eligible. You can write level I after first year of registration since, in your case, you will be required to complete min. 3 years for B.Com. 2. Level 2 only when you have graduation degree

Hi Sahibdeep, Thanks for the reply. Please clarify one thing. I have cleared my CA intermediate and applied for B.Com(A&F) in IGNOU which will be completed in one year and it doesnâ??t take 3 years in this case because of MoU with ICAI. Itâ??s been 3 years since I cleared my CA intermediate. So, am I eligible right now to give Level 1 or should I wait till the completion of 1 year of my B.Com? Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks

Level I you can write right away Karthikeya. No need to wait since your Inter is already done and thus, min. time period for you graduation is one year only. Go ahead!
