Overview 

CA exams are conducted twice a year with the results being announced around 2 months later after exam dates Foundation results for the Dec 2022 exams are expected to be declared on 3rd of February, 2023. 

Students who appeared for the Nov 22 exam can check their CA results on the icai.nic.in . These website details are given below. Exam candidates can also get their results via email and S MS. To enable this, all you have to do is register your email on the icaiexam.icai.org website and you will get the CA results in your inbox once they are announced. 

Where to check your results 

The CA Foundation exams were conducted from Dec 14 to 20, 2022. The results can be accessed by candidates on the websites below: 

1. icaiexam.icai.org 

     2. caresults.icai.org 

     3. icai.nic.in 

How to check your results? 

• Simply log in to the website mentioned above.
• Enter your ICAI roll number and PIN.
• Click “submit” to get your result.

To get your results via email, you will have to first register with your roll number and name on the ICAI portal. Without registering on the portal, you will not get your results through email.

To get your results via SMS, you have to send the required SMS to 57575. The SMS to be sent will be notified by ICAI on the website when the results dates are announced.  

Write a new text message (for all mobile services) as given below and send it to 57575 

CAFND (Space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the 6-digit Foundation roll number of the candidate)  

When will the CA Foundation results be announced?

The results for CA foundatoin exams held in December 2022 will be announced on 3rd February 2023.

 

How to download your results? 

Every CA needs a supporting document!!! Don’t you wish to download your CA results? Follow these simple steps: 

• Visit the website icai.nic.in.
• Click on the link “Foundation Examination Results”.
• On the new page that opens, enter your registration number/roll number, and your PIN.
• You will get your results in the next page. Download this page and take a printout in case you need a hard copy. 

Result page includes details such as the candidate's name, marks obtained in each subject, overall marks, and passing status. 

Who will be considered pass?  

Students with a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% aggregate in all four subjects within a single attempt will qualify as “pass”.  

The statement of marks will be sent to the registered address within 2 weeks after the results. If an applicant does not receive within the time limit, they can directly drop a mail to ICAI on their official mail ID- email_examhelpline@icai.in. 

Can you verify your Answer Sheets? 

Yes, student can apply for verification of marks just after the announcement of the result till the next 30 days. Send a handwritten (same medium used for exam – Hindi / English) application to ICAI with the requisite fees. Institute will refund your verification fees if this process leads to an increase in the marks.  

The verification may take up to 6 to 8 weeks. Write to the ICAI officials at dms_examhelpline@icai.in if you do not receive an update within 8 weeks. 

How to Inspect Certified Copies? 

Student can apply online or offline. Send the application form within one month from the result date. The application fees for inspection is 500. 

What do to next? 

Students who have cleared the CA Foundation Dec 2022 exams can register for the CA Intermediate Nov 2023 attempt. The registrations are open till March 1, 2023. If you have not yet started preparing for CA Inter, please start preparation immediately without wasting time. Enrol for courses at places which will suit your requirement. 

Those students who couldn’t clear the Foundation exams can apply for the next attempt i.e., May 2023. Submit the exam form from Feb 3 to Feb 24, 2023.
