Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions on Exemption from old to new syllabus

  1. I cleared Group I in existing scheme. What are the papers I am require to write in May-24?You are required to write FMSM & Audit in new scheme. The applicable unit is 2D. 
  2. I cleared Group I in existing scheme and got exemptions in FMEco or EIS SM. What are the papers I am required to write in May-24?You are required to write Audit in new scheme which is a part of Unit 2D. 

  3. I cleared Group I in exsiting scheme. Will the marks of costing be relevant in next attempt? The marks scored in costing is not relevant. You are not required to write costing again.

  4. I cleared Group I in IPCC Scheme (older scheme). I was exempted from Costing and FMEco in 2017 transition. What papers am I required to write in May-24?You are required to write FMSM and Audit under unit 2D. The exemption given for FM&Eco is lapsed.

  5. What is the aggregate marks to be scored in Unit 2D comprising of FMSM & Audit?You need to score aggregate of 100 marks with minimum of 40 in each subject.

  6. I cleared Group II in existing scheme? What are the papers I am required to write in May-24?You are required to write Unit 3 comprising of Taxation, Law & Costing. The passing criteria is 150 marks in aggregate with minium of 40 marks in each subject.
