A flowchart shows how to make system function but not functionality of system. Is it true?

Can anyone tell me the difference in the terms please?

It is true. Since flowchart represents a workflow or process. It gives how in a system a process which it is capable of can be done. Function - Basic task of a computer, especially one that corresponds to a single instruction from the user. Functionality - The ability of the system to do the work for which it was intended.
