Sales related doubt

answered on 08-Apr-25 10:01

While solving this i.e que (b) why we find first pv ratio and all that, however we can just add all costs and add 20% on sales which is as per direction of que only

latest answer

Here we used desired sales formula = (Fixed cost + Desired profit) / P/v Ratio. We need to use the formula for finding desired sales.

Why have we not taken value of output of process 1 while calculating cost p.u. of process 2?

latest answer

It is considered in 3,28,500 as the value of output of process 1 will become input for process 2. There is error in the values. It is 18000 not 1800. Please check
