Share capital is the entire amount of shareholders in rupee terms which is there in a company A share is a piece of that amount , share is in number terms , share value in rupee terms For example 1)Mr. A purchased 100 shares of Rs 10 each so here number of shares = 100 share face value = 10 and share amount = 100*10 = 1000 2)A ltd has issued 1000 shares of 10 each Here share capital for A ltd is 10,000 Rs
