Sir can you please explain 12th question of exercise 13(A) in syllogism chapter through VENN DIAGRAM only...

Conclusion 1 - Some erasers are papers. this is true As X = C + B + A and if B & C are >0, then some erasers are papers. If B&C are both 0 even then Erasers are papers. The Conclusion stands whether value of B& C is = 0 or >0 Conclusion 2 - Some pens are not papers - this is false because if B= 0, then all pens are papers So final Answer is a - only Conclusion 1 is right

I need a little more explanation for splicing of index numbers

latest answer

The process of combining two or more index numbers covering different bases into a single series is called splicing. It means if two time periods are overlapping i.e., having different base years, then to make them same base year we use slicing.

Sir I think option d is correct

latest answer

Duplicate of ratio 3:4= 9:16 Triplicate ratio of 2:3= 8:27 Now we have 4 ratios, i.e., 4/9 ;9/16; 8/27 and 9/7 Compounded ratio of these ratios = 4/9 Ã? 9/16 Ã? 8/27 Ã? 9/7 = 2:21â??
