Bell curve is a classic example of symmetrical distribution with mean, median, and mode occuring at the same point.

For asymmetrical distribution, the relationship between mean, median & mode is given by Meanâ??Mode=3(Meanâ??Median)

Probable error is equal to 0.6745 times the standard deviation. It is a normally distributed population and has half of its elements within one probable error of the mean.
