In the given graph why does line 1 start from origin and line 2 started from y axis? Although line 1 has C in it.. why does it start from orgin? Please reply... ASAP...!!

Could you please explain it.. a bit more briefly..

It is because even if your income is zero you consume for necessities right . So consumption starts above the origin

Income(Y) starts from zero level whereas consumption is done at present by using past savings
