Answer will be b) 6. Divide nCr-1 by nCr ( i.e., nCr-1/nCr = 56/28). Put in the formulas and you will get an equation 3r = 2n+2 Then divide nCr by nCr+1 (i.e., nCr/nCr+1 = 28/8). Put in the formulas and you will get an equation 9r = 7n - 2. Now solve these two equations & we will get r = 6.
