Is my solution correct?? I am having a doubt that in this sol x=2y=50 ; x=50 ;y=25 can be a pair also and x/2=50 x=100 ; y=50 I have attached the pdf of question and my solution. Pls resolve my doubt.

4x-7y=5x-9y => 2y=x ------(1) 5x-9y = 50 ------(2) 4x-7y=50 ----(3) substituting (1) in (2) 10y-9y=50 so, y = 50 and x = 100 OR .... substituting (1) in (3) 8y-7y=50 so, y=50 and x = 100 Monthly income is 400 and 500
