Audit documentation provides evidence of auditor's basis of conclusion about the achievement of overall objectives of the auditor. In general, this documentation is the evidence that the audit was performed as per the standards of auditing. On the other hand, audit report is an opinion of the auditor regarding financial statements which will be given to the owners of the organisation.
