CA Final Exam Form

With the last round of CA Final examinations of the year ongoing, the time is almost here for all of you aiming for the May cycle of testing to gear up because soon it will be time to fill your CA Final Exam Form. Before you can put all the hard work and intense training to the test in the upcoming CA Final exam, read on for every important detail regarding the correct and on-time CA Final exam registration process.

ICAI conducts its examinations in 400+ Indian cities and eight international locations, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, etc. You will have to specify your choice of exam center in the CA final exam form. 

ICAI also allows you to opt for either English or Hindi as the language to write your exam in, you can make your choice during the application process. 

Whether you plan to take both the groups at one go or attempt them one by one, you will have to fill the CA Final exam form online within the due dates, as stipulated by ICAI. In case you miss the deadline, you will be allowed a grace period of a few days, within which you can submit your application with a specific late fee. 

While you must take meticulous care while applying, however, in case of a mistake in the CA final exam registration form, ICAI allows a short form correction window within which you can make the required edits through your student dashboard.

The entire exam application process for CA Finals is done online by logging in at https://icaiexam.icai.org/# with the unique credentials of the student. Let us find out here how to apply for the CA final exam online.

Step 1: Log in with the student ID and password generated during CA Final registration to access your student dashboard.

Step 2: Start your application by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button.

Step 3: Fill up the form with accurate details of your eligibility, and save it for a preview.

Step 4: A declaration screen pops up. Please read the conditions carefully before ticking the checkbox and proceeding towards the final submission of the form.

Step 5: Your payment screen appears. Type in the accurate captcha to proceed towards the payment screen.

Step 6: Pay the CA Final exam fee online using either credit/debit cards or net banking services.

Step 7: Upon successful payment, a confirmation screen appears with your transaction details. Review and proceed towards downloading the PDF file of your application. 

Please note that unless the PDF of your application is generated, your CA Final exam registration process is not complete.

Step 8: The final step in the CA Final exam registration process involves taking a printout of the auto-generated application PDF and sending it to ICAI. However, please note that only those applicants whose photograph/ signature does not appear on the PDF need to send a hard copy of the document to the ICAI Exam Office within a specific date. 

You will have to affix a photograph at the specified slot on the document, sign it, and get it attested by the Principal of your institute before finally dispatching it to The Additional Secretary (Exams), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi 110 002.

Please note that oversight in sending the PDF hardcopy to ICAI within the deadline can create problems in the generation of your admit card and result.

ICAI allows you to correct mistakes, if any, or incorporate any changes in your CA Final exam registration form. 

If, after submitting the CA Final exam form, you realize that your choice of exam center,  medium of writing the exam, the group you wish to attempt, or the syllabus (new or old) is entered incorrectly, then you can avail of this correction opportunity after the application deadline with the late fee is over. 

Look out for the short correction window, usually of a week’s duration at the max, to open and get the corrections done through your dashboard on the ICAI self-service student portal. 

You will need to log in to your student dashboard and select the ‘Start Corrections’ tab to get on with the editing process. 

The dates for CA Final exam to be held in the May 2022 cycle have not been announced by ICAI yet. However, we have charted a tentative date schedule based on the timelines of previous testing cycles for your understanding. But, it is always advisable to keep a lookout for exam-related announcements on the ICAI official website.
